The stay was great, with very clean rooms and excellent breakfast options. However, I did have a bit of trouble with the hot water in the morning. Definitely staying here again!

Incredible buffet breakfast with authentic Swiss cuisine.

The check-in process was utterly chaotic and frustrating. I had to carry my luggage up numerous steps just to find the reception, only to realize I was in an annex with no clear signs. The room was painfully small and poorly ventilated, with a bizarre layout that made it feel suffocating. Additionally, the service was disappointingly unhelpful. it took multiple requests to get simple necessities attended to.

A Refreshing Retreat in Grindelwald

My solo stay was delightful! The spa was fantastic, especially the 95-degree sauna. However, I felt a cold plunge pool would enhance it. Breakfast options impressed, showcasing local flavors. Remember to bring toiletries, and a fan could alleviate summer heat. Local bus access made getting around easy.

The double room was cozy and nicely decorated, with views of the street and mountains which were really lovely. It felt warm and inviting, especially after a day of exploring. Just a solid selection for a weekend getaway in Grindelwald with incredible value for money. The incredible views from the room made the stay especially enjoyable. Make sure to ask for a fan during summer as it can get pretty warm.
